Why did I chose the veterinary medicine?

I remember since my childhood that I liked to watch tv documentals of animals and how they take care of them around the world.

Always I liked to spend my time with animals, I feel like a special connection with them, sometimes I think that I get on better with animals than people.

I grew up around pets like dogs, cats, mouse and guinea pigs and all of them made me feel a big happiness, they were my little friends of adventures.

Even to today when I’m walking in the street the dogs get near without a reason looking for some caress. I remember in summer a dog followed me while i got in a shop, the owner got angry but it wasn’t my fault! Poor dog :(

I chose medicine veterinary because it’s important to me the healthcare of animals, they are our mates so we must help them if it’s necessary.

I was interested in other careers like kinesiology or marine biology but I knew that I want to spend my whole life caring animals and even better being veterinary!!

I still haven’t decided what area of medicine I want to dedicate yet but i like animal rehabilitation and rare animals.

Until now all has been pretty cool in the college, it has been a little bit hard but I’m satisfied with my achievements, after all this is what I always dreamed
